Thomas Hancock

Really feels like I have been writing RIP too much over the past year. First Rickey, then Dane, now Thomas. This one hits closest to home for me. I first met Thomas when he was about 7 . He was this little blonde racer kid that would show up at the trails and do EVERY line. It was unreal. over the next 15 or so years I got to ride and hang out w/ thomas quite a bit.. He was, for a while, that little brother I never had. over the years Thomas and I grew up, both literally and figuratively, He moved to CA , got married and started a family and it seemed had kinda taken a backseat to riding. Last year at a random local AZ contest Thomas showed up and completely dominated everyone, not only did he have all those circus tricks ( remember the 360 backflip tailwhip?!?) he had some of the best style in the game.

Its crazy that well never get to see Thomas ride again. Its even crazier that ill never be able to give him shit for being a “bro” listening to kotton mouth kings, living in riverside, and having snakebite piercings, like only an older brother could.

Im gonna miss you Thomas. and Hey, when you read this give Rickey, Dane, and TJ a high five for me.And enjoy those sessions that hopefully none of us get to join in the very near future!

RIP ThomasĀ
